As Director of NMB Water in North Miami Beach, he leads the third-largest municipal utility in Florida, serving over 180,000 residents across multiple communities. Hamid has driven transformative initiatives in infrastructure modernization, post-crisis recovery, and operational continuity—ensuring reliable service and public health protection, especially in vulnerable areas.

He is a Certified Nonprofit Executive Director and an active volunteer leader with the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA), where he serves as the Municipal Representative on the Automation Committee.
