About Starling
Starling Inc. is an American aerospace company pioneering the next generation of unmanned aerial systems. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Southern California, Starling designs, manufactures, and deploys cutting-edge fixed-wing eVTOL drones purpose-built for real-world missions across defense, public safety, infrastructure, and agriculture.
Our mission is to deliver highly capable, autonomous, and modular aerial platforms that meet the demanding needs of frontline operators—whether flying beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), navigating without GPS, or operating in remote or denied environments. Starling systems are developed with a strong commitment to domestic manufacturing, open-architecture software integration, and rapid field deployment.
Pathfinder – The First Fixed-Wing Drone-in-a-Box eVTOL
Pathfinder is Starling’s flagship product and the first fixed-wing eVTOL drone-in-a-box system commercially available in the United States. Combining the vertical takeoff capabilities of a multirotor with the endurance and speed of a fixed-wing aircraft, Pathfinder redefines autonomous aerial operations.
With over 2.5 hours of flight time, 100+ mph top speed, and rapid autonomous battery swaps via the Starling Hub ground station, Pathfinder delivers unmatched performance in a compact Group 1 aircraft. The system supports modular payloads—including EO/IR cameras, radios, and mapping sensors—and is engineered for precision landings, high wind resilience, and operations in GPS-denied environments.
Pathfinder is built for persistent aerial presence across mission-critical applications such as:
Border and perimeter security.
Critical infrastructure inspection.
Emergency response and wildfire monitoring.
Tactical ISR and defense operations.
Agricultural mapping and environmental sensing.
Designed, built, and tested in the U.S., Pathfinder meets NDAA and Blue sUAS compliance where possible and exemplifies Starling’s commitment to innovation, operational readiness, and national resilience.
