Andrew Aleman has over 19 years of experience in Emergency Management and Public Safety and is dedicated to strengthening community resilience through innovative preparedness and response strategies. His career began as an EMT-B (2005) and he later became a volunteer firefighter (2008), emergency dispatcher (2011), and public safety radio administrator (2014) for the City of Pasadena, Texas. In 2021, Andrew was promoted to Senior Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator for the Pasadena Office of Emergency Management. In this role he leads efforts in emergency preparedness, public safety technology integration, and enhancing the City's public information warning systems. In his pursuit to solidify his expertise in emergency management, Andrew obtained his Associate Emergency Manager certification from IAEM in December 2024 and his Texas Emergency Manager certification from EMAT in January 2025.
