Jake Isbell is the Director of Emergency Management for the City of Hutto, Texas, where he leads initiatives that strengthen resilience before, during, and after disasters. He came to emergency management from service as a pastor and police chaplain, grounding his leadership in compassion, ethics, and collected countenance. Drawing on field experience in volunteer and donation coordination, long-term recovery planning, and interagency collaboration, Jake focuses on building practical connections between local government, nonprofits, businesses, and faith based communities. He has guided disaster operations while designing programs that transform response energy into organized, effective recovery. As a leader in Emergency Management and advocate for whole-community engagement, he equips leaders to communicate clearly, align resources, maintain public trust, to build resilient, and connected communities.
