Jon Durham is the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of NovAmaxa, where he turns rough ideas into road-ready assets for disaster response, defense, energy, and civic agencies. An R&D mechanical engineer and a lifelong prototyper, he has spent nearly two decades moving innovations from napkin sketch to full-scale production—designing everything from rapid-deploy mobile command centers and mobile medical clinics to custom mobile rehab units and mobile shop trailers. His cross-disciplinary teams blend structural, mechanical, electrical, and human-factor design to squeeze high-grade functionality into trailers, buses, and vans that can roll anywhere a hurricane, wildfire, or flood demands. A licensed pilot, he approaches every project with a test-flight mindset: iterate fast, validate in the field, and never stop refining. Today he leads NovAmaxa’s advanced development group, championing modular platforms that let relief professionals “dream big” and arrive mission-ready when communities need them most.
