Robert Emberson

Dr Robert Emberson is an Associate Research Scientist at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Alongside research activities, he coordinates and manages the portfolio of applications projects supported by the NASA Disasters Program and enables cross-collaboration with inter-agency, academic, and other NASA teams to further the success of Disasters applications. He has a background in earth surface processes, with a particular focus on how landslides influence biochemical processes in mountain belts and impact human populations. He holds a doctorate from the University of Potsdam (Germany) and an undergraduate earth science degree from the University of Cambridge (UK).
